HTTP Settings Page

The following is a screenshot of the HTTP Settings page of a sample installer created with the ionCube Package Foundry.

HTTP Settings Page

The installer will need to access the application being installed via the web. The application will be uploaded to an FTP server, so the URL of the web server corresponding to the FTP server needs to be entered on this page.

As an example, if when you login to your FTP site, you have a directory called public_html, and you entered 'public_html' as the install folder on the FTP page, then you should simply enter the URL of your web site, for example http://www.mysite.com. If you chose public_html/subfolder as the install folder then you would put http://www.mysite.com/subfolder as the URL.

If you do not have a web server running then you cannot complete all installation steps. You can, however, upload the application files to your server then run this installer again at a later time. To do this, check the My server is not running yet box.
